Kevin grew up in Raleigh and graduated from the US Air Force Academy. After jet school he instructed in the T-38 supersonic jet and later flew C-130s at Fort Bragg and with the Charlotte Air Guard. He served combat tours in the Balkans, Middle East, and Afghanistan. In 2003, he started SkySouth with one Baron. He expanded the business in 2008, launching SkySouth Aviation Services, a fixed base operator at the Burlington-Alamance Regional Airport. He has over 30 years and more than 7,000 hours in numerous aircraft including the King Air and Citation jet. He lives in Durham with his wife Frances; they have two sons, Jackson and Quince.
Business Manager and Charter Coordinator
Reuben is excited to join the SkySouth team! Although new to aviation, he worked as an office manager in New York City for several years. At SkySouth, Reuben oversees financial operations and reporting, charter operations, and information systems. In his free time, he enjoys reading, writing, and playing board games.
FBO Line Manager
Kyle will be managing the day-to-day operations of SkySouth Aviation Services at the airport. Kyle has been working in the industry for over five years, including as a supervisor at GSO, and most recently worked as Ground Operations Coordinator out JFK Terminal 1. He’s also an aviation enthusiast who’s working on his pilot ratings to further his knowledge of aviation.
Chief Pilot, Baron Captain
David Carr has flown high performance aircraft for more than 15 years and has accumulated over 3000 hours of flight time. When David is not flying he enjoys outdoor adventure sports, hunting and traveling. Originally from WV and a Marshall University graduate, David has called NC home since 1995.
Linda handles general office management, assists line staff and provides concierge services for FBO customers. She moved to North Carolina in 1980, and following a seven-year stretch in Greenville, SC, was thrilled to return to Burlington in 2015. She enjoys working on her 1930s home and grandson Will.
